Difficult Times For All

Due the continued financial difficulties the charity finds itself in, we have recently completed a full review of all our services. The Trustees and management team have concluded that to secure the future of the charity, and still provide our full range of therapy services, we have no choice but to cut our operating hours for both the therapy services and Purple Planet. We know that our various massage techniques, occupational therapy and physiotherapy cannot cure these conditions, but we can help improve the quality of life for these children by reducing pain, increasing mobility, teaching coping mechanisms and building self-esteem.

  • I come here every week with my 2 kids, my youngest has therapy with Graham then I let them run wild for an hour in the play area, food is good kids always eat it. and all staff are lovely always helpful and friendly. 😀 x

  • Our experience of coming to tiny Tims has been lovely all round. My daughters arm has benefited greatly from her weekly massage and we have noticed improvements in her arm. Her muscles are not so stiff as they were when she started coming and we know her massage will continue to be a great benefit to her as she grows.

  • We started our Tiny Tim’s & Purple Planet journey on 20th of April 2018!!! I never knew how my children’s lives and mine would change! All I did was fill in a simple form and I became part of a supportive community. I will forever be eternally grateful to the staff at Tiny Tim’s and Purple Planet. They have welcomed us from day 1 with open hearts and genuine smiles. They fully understand our children are special and need to be treated as such. Both my children have blossomed following their Occupational and Massage therapy sessions. Before Tiny Tim’s both my children constantly complained about aches in their joints and muscles. My Son was even under a specialist at the Hospital for testing, as we could not understand why he was in so much pain! After 6 weeks of Bowen Therapy he no longer complained about his bones hurting! He now has Bowen therapy once a week to help maintain a pain free state.

    Before Tiny Tim’s Occupational therapy input, both my children had many different concerns and difficulties and were on a huge NHS waiting list. Thanks to Ting Tim’s amazing Occupational Therapy Team my Son’s hand writing improved significantly, with a session once a week for about a few months he was able to write at his name and a sentence without being in constant pain, he also learnt how to regulate his emotions too!  My daughter also had some amazing input from Occupational Therapy, she learnt not be frightened of brushing her teeth and encouraged to taking a shower and washing her hair without getting distressed!

    Both my children love going to there therapy sessions and then popping into the amazing Purple Planet play area for a hot chocolate, piece of cake and a play. My Son has even stated he wants to work at the Purple Planet on a Saturday when he is old enough and I can’t wait!
