Tiny Tim’s Purple Planet is a great place for children to have fun and exercise in a clean, safe and friendly environment. Our indoor soft play area is packed with adventure. The equipment has been specially designed to ensure children with disabilities and special needs have good access and do not miss out, as we actively encourage integrated play. We believe that children need to exercise, so we have set out the play equipment in a way that combines both fun and movement.
Children who attend our soft-play centre not only have a fantastic time, but also have the opportunity to improve the lives of those less fortunate than themselves.
While you child plays you will be helping children with disabilities and special needs. All the entrance fees and the profits from parties and our café go straight into our adjoining Tiny Tim’s Therapy Centre. Therapies currently provided are remedial & neuromuscular massage techniques, Physiotherapy, Bowen Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Reflexology.
I learnt something new on this visit. I always knew it was a great, clean and friendly place for my children to go and play, but I hadn’t realised till this visit that it is also part of a children’s charity. In the same building is their alter ego, Tiny Tim’s headed up by Sarah Hemings. Tiny Tim’s is a centre which offers children with disabilities and special needs a range of physiotherapy, massage based treatments, therapeutic play and use of our sensory room for FREE. As well as treating the children, the centre also trains parents and carers in the skills they need to continue the treatment at home.
Tiny Tim’s is funded largely by the money raised at The Purple Planet through entrance fees and the party service. So while your children are playing and having fun, you’ll be supporting a very worthwhile local children’s charity.
My friend and I took our children (ranging from 5 to 9) there one afternoon and we had a fantastic time. It’s clean and bright – It has been specifically designed to be accessible for all including children with disabilities and special needs. As well as the baby and toddler area, There was a lovely atmosphere in the play area. The children went to play and we sat and had a drink in the café – while still being able to keep an eye on them. We also fed the children from the menu café, which is incredibly good value and offers both vegetarian choices and will try their best to cater for special dietary needs. They also have a great children’s parties service with times available in the afternoons, after school or at weekends. For a little extra you can have exclusive use of the centre!
Perfectly placed at the end of the A46 on the ring road is The Purple Planet, the brilliant soft play centre at Tiny Tim’s. It’s ideally located to get to from all over Coventry, Leamington, Rugby and Kenilworth.
